Dr.Mary Mathew is with the Dept. of Management studies, IISc, Bangalore. She did her research in the area of Intellectual Property Management with a special focus on the IT Industry. She teaches management of Intellectual Property, design management, research methodology, organizational behavior (design). Dr. Mathew has conducted many workshops regarding component based analysis of IP in software and the interdynamics between patents, copyrights and free software. She is the convenor of the MCIT led national committee to
introduce intellectual property in engineering and management schools in India. She has traveled widely and has 25 publications to her credit in journals and international conferences.
Gopi Krishna S Garge is a senior consultant at Exocore Consulting P Ltd and a Network Services Consultant to ERNET India at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Gopi's interests are in the areas of Internet Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Network performance monitoring and tuning and SLA enforcement mechanisms. He is also concerned about issues regarding the Terms of Use of free/opensource software and is one of the members of the team that is examining the Terms of Use of free/opensource software as a project for the MCIT, Govt. of India.
