Using Internet that has a vast connectivity for cheep mode of communication is a very attractive solution. Internet is never considered as security heavan. Always accused of being a crackers heaven. To have a security similar to \"virtual phone wire\" over public internet there are many solutions. Moving with the open internet philosiphy, a Virtual Private Network Solution using a GNU/Linux proves to be more cost-effective.
