Talk will focus on volunteering opportunities for geeks both in India and overseas. I will discuss various types of volunteering and the organizations that recruit volunteers.
I will discuss my experience in Kenya as a Geek Volunteer for a year. Emphasis will be on the technical challenges faced working in a rural environment and the solutions for these problems and the lessons learned.
