Synopsis Access to application that run on a server and the data in the server are to be secured. There are various security technologies associated with securing server and application. The security technologies, mechanisms include HTTPS, SSH, GPG, RPM signing, IP chains etc.,
The objective of this presentation is to present an overview of how these technologies or mechanisms can
be deployed to secure a server, application in the
context of Linux.
Speaker Profile I studied B.Sc. Maths from Madras Christian College, Chennai, then
I did MCA from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.
Working in IT industry since 96 July. ie., 7+ years of experience in IT industry.
Years of experience in Linux: 3 years.

Domain: Networking.
Languages known: C, C++, Java.
OS known: Linux, Solaris, Windows NT.

I have already presented a paper presentation in QAI International Software testing conference earlier.
