TRACK OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Education track is to develop ways to make F/OSS software a larger part of the educational system at various stages - beginning from early school to graduate-level courses. This includes such topics as education of teaching faculty in F/OSS tools and their importance, developing a suitable F/OSS-centric curriculum of study, and facilitating the adoption of F/OSS tools for education.
