Event Objectives
From LBwiki
Over the years, the Event formerly know as Linux Bangalore has grown, and addressed a much wider audience. (See Event History)
A question that many people asked - would the event continue cater to "newbies"?
The answer is - yes, and no.
The event does not take it upon itself to provide primary technical education to students. It does not purport to be a university or an educational institution. FOSS technologies are now mainstream, and it is up to technical universities to provide relevant fundamental education on such matters to its students.
This event tries to "plug the holes" in this education, and further it, by exposing people to new technologies, greater depth of knowledge and of course interaction with actual FOSS deployers, developers and users.
