Instant Messengers ( Icq, Yahoo, AIM , MS)

Internet Browsers

Dial up services ( kppp, wvdial )

Vcd's, mp3, audio cd's

Games

Emulators (VMware, Dosemu, wine )

Configuration utilities.
Total no. of machines:

1 machines with standard home configuration
Hardware Config:

Sound Card (AWE32 or better preferred)

17" inch color monitor

>=64 MB RAM.

Powered speakers

A 33.6 modem

Ink jet Printer.
Network Config:

A phone line to show dial up services.

A connection to the LAN is also required.
Floor space required:

16 (4x4) Square feet for machine.

Some setting to make it feel like a home machine.

Ample standing place for visitors.
Power Requirements:

At least 1KV power source

Need UPS too .

Volunteer Requirements:

Just about anybody who use linux as their primary OS.

Should be able to speak on anything with respect to linux applications

Knowledge of a X windows, desktops is a must.
