This talk will introduce Mono and its impact as a development platform for OpenSource developers. |

Miguel works on the Mono project to bring a state of the art development platform to Linux as well as helping people bring their Windows applications to Linux.
In the past Miguel started the Gnome project, and Mono is very much a technology to accelerate the development of the open source desktop. He remains passionate about making Linux on the desktop a reality. |
