Scope General
Synopsis Government and corporations have begun successfully deploying Linux desktops and displacing expensive and troublesome Windows machines. This talk will address who is doing this, how they are doing this, and whether you can join the ranks of the happy Linux desktop user.
Speaker Profile A long-time open source developer, Nat Friedman is a developer of the GNOME Foundation's proposal and charter and has made significant contributions to the development of the Bonobo object model, the GNOME architecture for creating reusable software components and compound documents.
