||Fusion Music: Layatharanga
||Layatharanga presents an evening of innovative fusion music, blending Indian and Western music into an enchanting and spellbinding musical adventure.
||LAYATHARANGA was founded in 1997 with an aim to capture the essence of Carnatic Classical music along with its newest contemporaries. A team of 7 musicians, it offers an exclusive and exhilarating fusion of Carnatic Classical and Western Music embedded also with Indian folk styles.
The team offers a unique collection of compositions that would come out of the shackles of traditional music and fuse different musical forms to brew a pleasing and foot tapping combination of sounds. Their dream bore fruit and thus was the genesis of Layatharanga. It crossed the boundaries of cities, states and even countries, to reach the hearts and souls of art lovers. People awed at the combination of various elements that brought to their ears, soothing and melodious music. Critics dug in with their bit. Well-wishers poured in with their morale boosters. Fans poured out their appreciation. Thus Layatharanga was nurtured by one and all.
Music rendered by Layatharanga is a symbol of hope that all eternal energies may harmoniously merge to bring about world peace and all round development. It is an attempt, in the musical way, to soothe the minds, which continuously encounter the onslaught of everyday challenges and heavy workload. It is also an effort to widen the horizon of art and people, of life itself.
