The prime aim of this work is to throw some light on how to load and run a simple java application into Linux installed PDA. This talk discusses about developing a java application on a host machine, and then uploaded to the PDA. Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) suite for many people around us for example, for the one who travels a lot and want to work at all times. Sharp finds a solution for this requirement by introducing the Personal Mobile tool called SL-series Zaurus, which has all features of a PDA and includes many features of a PC, like mail client, Office, media players, personal Java, embedded Linux, etc. Here in this talk we discuss about how to develop a File Search Utility which is not there in the PDA. After successfully developing and port the Java application, the user can easily find the location of the required file residing in PDA with much less sweat when compared to the conventional way of searching files. |
