Postfix 2 is a very versatile ESMTP server, well suited for delivering a range of services in a stable and secure fashion. It can be integrated with a database backend to securely provide services to multiple users with varying requirements. Courier IMAP is a fast and secure POP3/IMAP server which can integrate with the same backend to provide pop3 and imap services. We cover the concepts involved and then a short howto on setting up the actual services |
