Synopsis |
The world is rapidly becoming the much touted global village connecting the world's disparate people and their computing needs.
Hence it makes a lot of sense to be able to have your application be useful regardless of where in the world it is used.
Open SOurce projects, as usual, recognise this and have made pioneering efforts in globalizing their software.
The talk will begin with an overview about what it takes to create a language compliant application.
This will be followed up with a specific walk through of building a language compliant GNOME application from "scratch". The whole talk will be supported by a live demo. |
