Synopsis |
Blender is an Open Source 3D tool for creating Graphics in Linux. The talk
covers an introduction to Blender covering basic features like rendering,
Objects, materials and textures, etc. The various tools available for creating
animations in Blender will also be discussed. The Blender gaming engine and
creation of 3D interactive graphics using Blender will also be mentioned. |
Speaker Profile |
Kartik is an Linux and Open Source evangelist who has been using Linux for more
than 5 years. He is the Co-ordinator of the Bangalore Linux Users Group and has
been actively involved in all the activities of the group for the last 4 years.
He has been a part of the LB/200x initiative for three years now.
Kartik is currently working at IBM. His OpenSource evangelism has influenced
many of his colleagues to adopt Opensource tools in their projects.
