This is an introduction to the newbies, to get started with the GNU/Linux. The talk is mainly focused on the features of Knoppix like live-cd (no installation required), 2GB of software on 700MB CD ready-to-run, etc. and how to use them without any trouble of installing. |

Currently studying at APS College of Engineering, Bangalore (7th semester CSE).
Founder and promoter of Linux Users Group in our college, with currently 90 members.
Gave a talk on 'Introduction to GNU/Linux' in our college last month.
Attended both LB/2001 & LB/2002. Also regularly attend BLUG meets. |
