Memory Management has always been a fascination for many Kernel Developers because it mostly concerns with the latency with respect to the user.
The efficient,the Memory Management,better is the response time of the Kernel.
The talk would first touch upon Memory Management in general in the Linux Kernel, and then focus on paging considerations for keeping/swapping out pages in Memory and the implementations with respect to the Linux Kernel.
Issues like least frequently used ,least recently used algorithms related to page ageing would be discussed.
The talk would also touch upon Memory Management in MIR-An Open source projoect for which the speaker has designed and is working on the implementation of MM,because theoritical knowledge backed with practical efforts would help increase the learning curve pertaining to any domain.

The speaker has a liking especially towards Memory Management in the Linux Kernel.
Had given a talk on the same,last year which focussed on Memory Management in Linux Kernel 2.4 and 2.2
He is also actively involved in Open Source Projects,
one of which is called MIR- an alternative functional 32 bit OS,for which he has worked/working on Memory Management, Process Management in Particular,etc.
