 Subscription to the Mailing Lists
We maintain several mailing lists for the purpose discussing technical and
non-technical subjects related to Linux.
We pride ourselves at the high SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) that our lists
exhibit, and despite the name "linux-bangalore", our membership spreads
across the country and even across the world.
Feel free to join any or all of these lists!
Before plunging in and shooting off questions, read THE LIST RULES.
Then read this article by Eric Raymond and Rick
Moen about asking questions on mailing lists. This is compulsory
reading!

The Announcement List
linux-bangalore
This list is an announcement-only list, which means that no
one except the list moderators can post to it.
Announcements will usually be about upcoming meetings, events and any news
that the community should be aware of.
Everyone should be subscribed to this list as one would otherwise
miss important announcements regarding both the BLUG and the linux-bangalore
lists. We try and avoid crossposting to the other lists.
